IO-1616 is a card with USB or RS232 interface which allows managing 16 optocoupled inputs and 16 optocoupled outputs. Easy to use, thanks to its installation driver and software libraries which also reduce installation costs, IO1616 is the right answer to the need to acquire digital signals and to control power outputs from a PC in an industrial environment.
Besides, an integrated temperature sensor allows knowing in real time the temperature of the system IO1616 is placed in.
The use of USB or RS232 interface allows IO-1616 high speed, hardware independence, and flexibility in the expansion of connected cards. The board size is the standard European Format Card so that it can be easily integrated into several systems. Besides, IO1616 has its inputs and outputs galvanically isolated to protect from electromagnetic disturbances and ground loops, improving its reliability and quality.
IO1616 is provided with a driver and a software for Windows (compatible XP, Vista and 7- 32bit and 64bit).

The state of the inputs and outputs is shown through LEDs on the board
Timeout control to turn off all the outputs if it does not receive commands from the host within a time configurable through software.
USB port technical features
- 1 B port autonomously powered for the host connection
- Possibility to connect directly to a host port up to 256 cards for a maximum of 1536 inputs and 2304 outputs
